LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB+WAVE) — The son of former Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin issued a statement Thursday following his father’s release from the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
A Kentucky Court of Appeals judge ordered the immediate release of Bevin on Wednesday from Louisville’s jail, where he was serving a 60-day jail sentence for contempt of court.
Bevin was booked Sept. 3, following a warrant issued by Jefferson Circuit Judge Angela Johnson in relation to the ongoing divorce proceedings with his former wife, Glenna Bevin.
