Indiana State Police Investigation Leads to Greenville Man’s Arrest

An investigation by the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force led to the arrest of a Greenville man Thursday on multiple felony charges.

During the investigation in July, investigators seized a cellular device from Joseph A. Jackson, 52, of Greenville. Following a digital forensic examination of the device, investigators obtained a search warrant for Jackson’s residence at 7900 Old Vincennes Road in Greenville. Investigators also obtained an arrest warrant for Jackson.

On Sept. 17, investigators executed the search warrant at the Greenville residence. Later that same day, Jackson was taken into custody during a traffic stop in Greenville and remanded to the Floyd County Jail…
