LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A community cleanup will be held on Saturday for the historic Louisville Cemetery.
Tammy Fletcher, president of the Louisville Cemetery Improvement Association, said volunteers should bring their own trash bags, water, work supplies and protective gear. The goal is to keep the cemetery clean and accessible for families visiting loved ones.
“We still want people to be able to come out and ride through the cemetery and see their loved ones without any bushes, without any trash,” Fletcher said. “It’s important to them.”…
