2600 Block Greenwood Ave. — Reported Location Woman Found After Shooting
A woman died after being shot early Saturday morning on Greenwood Avenue in Louisville’s Parkland neighborhood, according to police. Officers were called to the 2600 block of the street just after 5 a.m. and found an adult woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
Louisville EMS treated her at the scene before rushing her to UofL Hospital, where she later died from her injuries, according to WHAS11. Louisville Metro Police Department’s Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation, and as reported by Yahoo News, officers said all parties involved in the shooting have been identified and accounted for.
