Case of skunk rabies confirmed in southern Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WAVE) – The Indiana Department of Health is urging resident to make sure their pets are vaccinated after skunk rabies was detected in Clark County. State health officials say this is the first case detected in a skunk in the Hoosier state since 2004 and is the same type of rabies that was found recently in northern Kentucky.
