Watch: Louisville CB Jarvis Brownlee Intercepts Sam Hartman in Senior Bowl

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but a Louisville defensive back has just intercepted Sam Hartman again.

This time, it was former Cardinals cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr. in the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl from Mobile, Ala., an all-star exhibition that allows some of the top upperclassmen in college football to put their talents on display in front of NFL scouts.

In the final minute of the first half, with the scored tied at seven and the National Team in the red zone, the former Wake Forest and Notre Dame quarterback threw an errant pass right to Brownlee inside the 10-yard line. The former Louisville standout then took the interception 34 yards up the right sideline to keep the score tied at halftime.

Hartman is undoubtedly is one of the most prolific quarterbacks in college football history, but Louisville’s defense has had their fair share of success against him. The Cardinals have generated eight of his 49 career interceptions, and six of his 22 career fumbles. 11 of his turnovers against Louisville came in his final two games against them: a 48-21 UofL victory over No. 10 Wake Forest in 2022 and a 33-20 win over No. 10 Notre Dame this past season
