New records related to the investigation of former Clark County, Indiana, Sheriff Jamey Noel and his family allege his daughter Kasey spent over $100,000 on a credit card used in the name of a nonprofit fire department he oversaw.
Investigators allege that from 2019-23, Kasey purchased clothing, cosmetics and pedicure and manicure services, among other things, using an American Express business card meant for use by the Utica Township Fire Fighters Association. American Express had previously flagged more than $4 million in credit card expenses that were charged to the fire department’s account, but were allegedly for the personal uses of Jamey and his wife, Misty Noel.
A report from American Express showed there were five credit card holders for the business account of the Utica Fire Department — Jamey, Misty and Kasey Noel, as well as department board members Matthew Owen and Kevin Wilkerson. Kasey Noel, along with Owen and Wilkerson, have not been criminally charged in connection to the findings in the investigation.
