USA TODAY named its Restaurants of the Year. This Louisville favorite made the list

Nami in Louisville made USA TODAY’s list of best restaurants in the country.

The USA TODAY Restaurants of the Year 2024 list, released today, features 47 restaurants from fine-dining establishments to counter-service seafood shacks.

“It is such an incredible honor to be named on this prestigious list,” Edward Lee, Nami’s chef and owner, told the Courier Journal. “I am inspired and grateful to every person on the Nami team who defines what it means to strive for integrity, excellence, and craft every single day. We are over the moon.”

USA TODAY Network food journalists from across the country pooled their expertise to select the list, which includes the places they know, love, and recommend.

Nami was chosen because of its unique modern Korean cuisine, brought to downtown Louisville by Lee.

Another Kentucky restaurant was also selected: Barn8 in Goshen.
