For the second year in a row, Jefferson County Public School leaders are implementing a new bell schedule, with nearly 50 schools getting a new start time for the upcoming academic year.
Last year, the district operated on nine different start times. But in an effort to improve transportation services, there will now be three start times, with all schools starting at 7:30 a.m., 8:40 a.m. or 9:40 a.m.
The change, leaders explained, will give bus drivers more time between their morning and evening routes.
The first day of school is Thursday, Aug. 8. Find which schools are in each of the three time slots below.
