LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The name of the semi-truck driver who was killed in a fiery crash on Interstate 65 between Jefferson Street and the Kennedy Bridge is now known. According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, 44-year-old Ahmed Ibrahim died from smoke inhalation and thermal burns on Saturday shortly before 5:30 p.m. His cause of death was ruled an accident.
