LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville will pay a woman $150,000 to settle a lawsuit after she was shot with a rubber bullet by police during the Breonna Taylor protests in 2020. Shannyn White says she was shot with a rubber bullet on May 29, 2020. The lawsuit said she was standing peacefully with 20 other protestors on West Jefferson Street when she was hit in the face.
