Kentucky Veteran awarded posthumous Purple Heart for WWII service

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – The family of Sergeant Marion Otto Teasley, a World War II military police officer who fought and was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge, was honored with a posthumous Purple Heart in a moving ceremony on Monday. Congressman Brett Guthrie presented the medal to Teasley’s sons at American Legion Post 23, recognizing his bravery and the sacrifice he made for his country.
