Some Louisville-area schools are cancelling classes Monday as a winter storm moves through the area , bringing with it a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain and hazardous road conditions.
The inclement weather comes as some school districts, including Jefferson County Public Schools, were set to return from winter break Monday .

Is JCPS closed Monday?
During a news conference Saturday, Jefferson County Public Schools spokesperson Carolyn Callahan said no decision has been made yet, but officials expect to announce whether Monday classes will be cancelled on Sunday evening.
If classes are cancelled, Monday will be a traditional snow day with no virtual instruction, she said.

All extracurricular activities at Oldham County Schools are cancelled Sunday, district officials announced .
