Louisville homeless shelter obtains license one week after FOCUS investigation revealed it didn’t have one

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Wayside Christian Mission, Louisville’s largest homeless shelter, is now current on its homeless shelter license.

According to the Louisville business portal, the license was renewed Jan. 23 and will be valid until Sept. 1.

The WHAS11 FOCUS Team brought this license lapse to Wayside Chief Operating Officer Nina Moseley’s attention last week. The shelter was without a license for 16 months, from September 2023 until this week. The license is for 388 people and 52 rooms…
