Former Louisville OL Mekhi Becton Reaches Super Bowl LIX with Eagles

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – For the first time in three years, a former Louisville football player is heading back to the Super Bowl.

With the Philadelphia Eagles’ 55-23 victory over the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship, offensive lineman Mekhi Becton is now just one win away from hoisting the Lombardi Trophy. He was the lone former Cardinal still alive in the NFL playoffs heading into Conference Championship weekend.

Becton and the Eagles will do battle against either the Kansas City Chiefs or Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl LIX. Kickoff from the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans set for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. EST…
