Family reacts to dropped charges in Brandon Shirley case; reward increased for information in deputy’s killing

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — After charges were dropped against the two men accused of shooting and killing a Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputy, the family has increased the reward for information leading to a conviction.

Deputy Brandon Shirley was shot and killed in August 2021 while working off-duty security at Rockford Lane Auto Sales.
