Louisville CBP halted $27M in fake jewelry shipments last month

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — More than $27 million worth of counterfeit jewelry was seized in Louisville last month, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials.

Louisville CBP officers stopped 28 shipments of fake designer jewelry, each worth an average retail price of over $975,000 had the items been genuine, from reaching their destinations.
