Man arrested after SWAT situation in Fairdale neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – An hours-long standoff between Louisville police and a man who allegedly fired guns outside a home in the Fairdale neighborhood ended with the suspect’s arrest.

LMPD said they went to a home on Bridget Drive just off the National Turnpike after several neighbors called saying a man was outside his house firing shots. Police claim 50-year-old Brad Mckinley went back into his home before officers arrived and refused to come out when they did arrive on scene.
