LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Karson Reitz, the man accused of shooting and killing two men inside a Louisville restaurant on Dec. 23, 2021, will spend 17 years in prison for his crimes.
During his re-trial in December 2023, the jury delivered a split verdict, acquitting him of murder but convicting him of second-degree manslaughter in the deaths of Michael Miller and Bradley Cross. The jury recommended the manslaughter sentences to be served consecutively and the wanton endangerment sentence to be served concurrently for a total of 17 years in jail.
