LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – An employee at a local athletics company and her husband have been charged for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from the company over nearly two years.
According to new arrest documents, Amanda Brooke West and her husband Joseph Aaron Phelps were arrested late Friday. West is charged with theft and fraud and Phelps is charged with theft of over $10,000.
The arrest documents say West was employed by Athletx Sports Group in Jeffersontown between Dec. 14, 2022, and Oct. 1, 2024, the same time the crimes allegedly occurred. Athletx Sports Group is a company known for putting on youth sports tournaments across the country…
