Storms return to our area Sunday

Another solid rain & storm chance will return to our area by the second half of the weekend. Saturday looks fine with sunshine and temperatures near 60, but Sunday will not be as nice.

A warm front will roll through our area early in the day, which will bring in our first wave of rain around mid morning through early afternoon.

This will likely put a damper on some late church services and lunch plans. As that warm front slides through the area, showers follow and temperatures climb back into the upper 50s and low 60s. This allows for some storm energy to build up for the afternoon.

The second wave rolls in late afternoon/evening as we approach sunset and as the cold front starts to slide through our area.

For now, severe weather doesn’t look like too much of a concern. Some storms along the cold front could bring in some gusty winds and small hail, but the chance for organized severe weather looks to remain to our south…
