LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A memorial ceremony was held honoring a Louisville police officer who lost his life in the line of duty.
LMPD officer Peter Grignon was investigating a hit-and-run on March 23, 2005, arriving on scene of an early morning crash. He found a suspect’s vehicle burning nearby. Moment’s later, Officer Grignon was confronted by two subjects and shot twice.
He was taken to the hospital, where he died a short time later. Grignon had been with LMPD for two years…
