LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A new Kentucky Derby Festival event for fans of all ages has been postponed because of the threat of severe weather.
The Zoeller Pump Company’s ParadeFest was set to happen from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at Zoeller Pump Company, but is being rescheduled.
“Kentucky Derby Festival produces most of our events outdoors and over the years we’ve learned to be flexible when it comes to weather in the Ohio Valley,” Kentucky Derby Festival President and CEO said Matt Gibson said in a news release. “The potential for rain and high winds this weekend would make it challenging to host the ParadeFest outside and impact the event experience, so we’re postponing to a later date.”…
