NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WDRB) — A man was found dead inside an SUV that had crashed into a deep creek Thursday morning in New Albany.
Police were called to to the area of 10th and Main Streets just after 10 a.m. after a man reported a vehicle crashed through his yard and hit his front steps, according to New Albany Police Chief Todd Bailey. The scene is near the city’s wastewater plant.
Bailey said the vehicle continued down an embankment and into Falling Run Creek. Donald Green, who reported the crash to police, said the creek is about 30-feet deep, but is several feet higher right now because of flooding…
