A Jefferson County Public Schools teacher was reassigned after being arrested on drug charges.
Ralph Loechle, a 51-year-old social studies teacher at Eastern High School, was arrested in Shelby County over the weekend.
According to the arrest report, an officer pulled him over because the plate on his car didn’t match the registration. When the officer asked Loechle to step out of the vehicle, he said the car smelled like marijuana.
