Juvenile turns himself in after hit-and-run crash in downtown Louisville, police say

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The driver of a hit-and-run Saturday morning that left a man in critical condition turned himself into Louisville Metro Police.

LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said officers responded around 4:30 a.m. to the 400 block of 2nd Street, near the Omni Louisville Hotel. The initial investigation showed a man was in the middle of 2nd Street, when he was hit by a car that fled northbound toward the Clark Memorial Bridge after the crash.

Police said the victim was transported to nearby UofL Hospital in critical condition…
