LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Wawa is putting the final touches on its first location in the Kentuckiana region to start welcoming drivers later this month.
The convenience store and gas station chain said it plans to start welcoming guests at its Clarksville location on Veterans Parkway Friday, May 30. Doors open at 8 a.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony planned for 9 a.m. Construction on the location began in early 2024 at the site of the former Red Robin restaurant.
The southern Indiana store is one of three Wawa is opening in the state this month, bringing about 35-40 new jobs to Clarksville. The other two are located north of Indianapolis, with the first Indiana location scheduled to open May 15 in Daleville, the company said Monday…
