Authorities seeking to identify woman found dead under overpass

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office is asking for help from the public to identify a person who was found dead last year.

Deputy Coroner Steve Moran says the person is a Black female who appears to be in her 20s or early 30s. She is approximately 5′3″ and weighs around 140 pounds. The woman was wearing pajama type pants, a dark shirt, and no shoes.

Moran said fingerprint and DNA analysis were unsuccessful. AI facial recognition technology has determined she is likely of African descent and may possibly be an immigrant…
