Louisville police chief defends handling of missing woman case

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police Chief Paul Humphrey said the department will not change its policies surrounding missing person reports after what happened with Latasha White.

In a news conference Tuesday with Mayor Craig Greenberg, Humphrey said they took those concerns to their legal team and they found it complied with the law.

“There’s a lot more information that will come out about that case that will provide more clarity when we are able to give it,” he said…
