LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The Louisville Fire Department is investigating after a house fire in the Algonquin neighborhood Thursday morning left one man displaced.
Crews responded to a report of a moped on fire that ignited a nearby residence in the 1700 block of West Gaulbert Avenue. When they arrived, they found a one-story house with visible flames and presenting risks to adjacent properties.
Crews were able to evacuate the building and bring the fire under control in about seven minutes. The American Red Cross is assisting the man who was displaced by the fire…
