Early morning passengers experience delays at Louisville airport

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — If you flew out of Louisville’s airport Thursday morning, you might have experienced a major delay while at the security checkpoint.

A spokesperson for the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport confirmed a pipe ruptured Wednesday around 10:35 a.m. around the security checkpoint, and only three lanes were open.

Those issues persisted into Thursday morning; TSA was able to open the three lanes from Wednesday, but the spokesperson said there was a delay in opening the remaining four lanes because of issues related to the water…
