More people trying to join class action lawsuit against Spectrum

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – More people are trying to join a class action lawsuit against Charter Communications Inc., also known as Spectrum Cable.

The lawsuit accuses the company of misleading practices.

It centers around a $28 monthly surcharge for re-transmission fees. Those fees are said to be paid to local television stations whose transmissions are carried on cable and satellite systems, but the lawsuit says those numbers don’t add up and accuses Spectrum of profiting off the fee…
