Louisville woman charged with murdering rehab patient due in court after mental exam

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A woman charged with murdering a patient at a Louisville rehab facility is due in court today after she was order to undergo a competency exam earlier this year.

Angela Hensley is accused of strangling a patient to death at Praxis of Louisville by Landmark Recovery in the Hazelwood neighborhood on Feb. 9. Hensley, a patient at Praxis, reportedly told detectives she strangled 48-year-old Holly Knight after Knight told her she wanted to die.

“She said she wanted to die, so I killed her,” Hensley told Louisville Metro Police detectives, according to the arrest citation…
