Troubleshooters: Caterer of “pop-up party” cited by Metro ABC

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville Metro ABC has cited the caterer for Saturday’s “illegal pop-up party”.

Stella’s Venue on River Road was hosting an event on Saturday night with a crowd that grew into several hundred, topping 1,000 both inside and outside the venue at one point in the night. Metro ABC officers said it was significantly over capacity and involved underage drinking.

Metro ABC issued six violations against the caterer for that event, Club Cedar:

  • [ABC KRS 244.120(1)] Disorderly premises; premises not to be disorderly
  • [ABC KRS 244.120(2)(G)] Health requirement; failure to maintain health requirements
  • [ABC KRS 244.120(G)] Failure to maintain health standards; failure to maintain health requirements
  • [ABC KRS 244.120] Disorderly premises; premises not to be disorderly
  • [KRS243.020] Licenses required; KRS 243.020 license required
