LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A section of the Watterson Expressway (I-264) will be shut down Sunday, June 22 as part of planned utility work by Charter Communications.
Both directions of the I-264 will be shut down near Brownsboro Road for about 30 minutes beginning at 8 a.m. Sunday. During that time, detours will be in place.
- Drivers heading from I-71 South to I-264 West should take I-265 South, then I-64 West to reach I-264 West.
- Drivers heading from I-71 North to I-264 West should continue on I-71 North, then take I-265 South to I-64 West to reach I-264 West.
- Drivers traveling on I-264 East to I-71 North or I-71 South should take I-64 East, then I-265 North to reconnect with I-71.
