As heat continues to settle in over our area and our heat index values continue to climb above the century mark, the NWS has expanded our Heat Advisory to include more communities, and is in effect until Tuesday at 8 PM.
This now includes Louisville and much of our Kentucky counties. This is for heat index values over 100 degrees through at least Tuesday, if not longer. Here’s more from the NWS on the advisory:
