A mother is facing charges after she allegedly bashed in her six-year-old daughter’s skull with a hammer.
According to PEOPLE, 40-year-old Zeinab Abdi is currently being held at the Louisville Metro Corrections on charges of attempted murder in connection with an alleged hammer attack against her daughter on June 19.
Officers responded to Abdi’s residence after receiving a report of a girl being attacked with a hammer. The six-year-old was found “suffering from multiple skull fractures and brain bleeds.” She was taken to a local hospital, where she remains in critical condition days after the attack…
