Lawyers for man charged in explosion at Louisville hotel wait for competency report

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The man accused of setting off a bomb in a Louisville hotel room was in court Monday.

Leonard Pitchford made a brief appearance in court after being arrested earlier this month following an explosion at Springhill Suites in Lyndon. The 37-year-old is charged with 43 counts of wanton endangerment, using a weapon of mass destruction and arson.
