LOUISVILLE, KY (LOOTPRESS) – GE Appliances has announced a major expansion at its global headquarters in Louisville with plans to build a new manufacturing facility dedicated to producing clothes washers.
The company is investing $490 million in the project and expects to create 800 new, full-time jobs.

The new facility will be located in Building 2 at Appliance Park and will expand the company’s clothes care production area to the size of 33 football fields.
According to GE, the site will serve as a state-of-the-art model for the appliance industry, incorporating automation, robotics, and advanced technologies like Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs)…
