LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Tenants organized under the Louisville Tenants Union have been granted a statewide restraining order to protect them from a New Jersey company that manages several apartment complexes in Kentucky, including the Regency Park Apartments in Fairdale.
The injunction entered by Jefferson Circuit Court Judge Julie Kaelin prohibits OSPM LLC from retaliating against tenants for organizing unions on their properties.
“Tenants on these properties now no longer have to live in fear of being evicted, of having their utilities shut off, or experiencing harassment daily simply because they are organizing to build power in their homes with their neighbors,” attorney Andrew Chandler said…
