LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Plans for Louisville’s own entertainment district are now in limbo, the mayor announced Wednesday.
Mayor Craig Greenberg said the city is taking another look at a proposal for an open-alcohol recreation area after recent incidents like large crowds gathering on NuLu sidewalks, and the potential for street takeovers.
“We have pushed pause on that for right now, given some of the what we have been dealing with, we want to make sure that we have enough manpower to ensure that when we do create that, that safety is paramount and that there are enough officers in the evening,” Greenberg said…
