LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It’s a hot summer day, but Alyssa Burns is joined by friends and family at Jefferson Square in downtown Louisville. Some traveled as far as Adair County to advocate for a hands-free law in Kentucky.
“We are protesting and rallying together for justice for Cammie,” Burns said. “There’s not a lot of people that know that what happened to my daughter can happen and there’s a good chance that if it does happen again, there will be no consequences for it.”
