LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Construction throughout the corridor connecting Butchertown and NuLu has been ongoing for months, and this weekend, crews have shut down the intersection of East Main Street, Story Avenue and Baxter Avenue to work on the finishing touches of the project.
That construction, however, has come at a hefty price for business owners in the area. Formé Millinery has been nestled in that neighborhood for seven years. Jenny Pfanenstiel, master milliner and owner, said the location fits her vibe.
“I love it here,” she pointed out. “The architecture is beautiful. I love being in an old, restored home that’s been turned into commercial space. It really fits the aesthetic of my brand.”…
