LOUISVILLE, Ky. — More than 20,000 cars drive across the toll-free Second Street Bridge between Louisville and southern Indiana every day.
But, drivers are sounding the alarms on the dangers of crossing the Ohio River on the nearly 100-year-old bridge.
“I’ve just seen a lot of a lot of things that are very troubling, making that bridge not safe in many circumstances for people to cross,” southern Indiana resident William Reedy said. “People just go too fast for whatever reason, and they don’t look out for their own safety, let alone the safety of the other people on the bridge.”…
