LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — One of the men charged in the Harvest Homecoming shooting is expected in court in Floyd County Monday afternoon.
Shermichael Smith is preparing for his trial that’s scheduled for Aug. 18. He is charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, aggravated robbery, and criminal recklessness.
Smith is one of five people charged in the shooting that killed 18-year-old Bryce Gerlach and injured two others.
Damarius Person, Darius Tuff, and Joshua Smith have already been sentenced in the case…
