Nonviolence advocate discusses solutions to prevent youth crime

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — While overall violent crime is down in Louisville, the Louisville Metro Police Department said there’s an uptick in crimes involving children and teenagers.

“You hear it all the time; ‘Oh, they just got caught up in the wrong crowd,'” said Paul Humphrey, LMPD chief of police. “No, your kid is the wrong crowd. Your kid is the wrong crowd, and they’re a reflection of you.”
