Wrecked or abandoned car on your Louisville street? Here’s how to report it

With street parking at a premium in Louisville, there are few things as irritating as having your neighborhood street filled with junked or abandoned cars.

In April, Louisville Codes and Regulations Director Richard Price told The Courier Journal his department will be cracking down on abandoned vehicles left on city streets. Price said he received permission from Louisville Metro Police to locate and remove cars that have been left wrecked or abandoned in an effort to combat blight, specifically in the West End.
