Thieves targeting Dodge vehicles with new technology

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Metro Police Department reported an uptick in newer-model car thefts, and more specifically, in Dodge vehicles.

LMPD and Dodge dealership professionals warned thieves are recreating duplicate keys for push-to-start vehicles through devices typically used by locksmiths or on smart devices.
