LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville police have announced the arrest of a 15-year-old in connection to a shots-fired incident near a school bus stop on JCPS’s first day of class.
The incident happened on Aug. 7 around 8 a.m. in the 1000 block of West Chestnut Street. No one was reported hit by gunfire, but at the time, children were at the nearby bus stop. LMPD said that their initial investigation did not determine the children were the target of the gunshots but said several of them did hear the shots.
Police said on Aug. 8, they arrested a 15-year-old boy. He is facing 33 counts of wanton endangerment and one count of possession of a handgun by a minor…
