(NewsNation) — A man on probation for a string of robberies has been arrested in Kentucky after police said he abducted a mother and two children before robbing a bank.
Police said Armond Langford, 32, broke into a woman’s home armed with a knife and drove her and her two children to a nearby bank Friday, where he demanded cash before fleeing.
The woman was injured during the robbery and was taken to the hospital for treatment, but officials said her injuries were not life-threatening. The children were not hurt, but a spokesperson for the Louisville Police Department told a local news outlet that it was “very traumatic, what has taken place.”
